Dobradinha com feijao branca

Cow stomach (yes, it is made of cow stomach) cooked in creamy white beans sauce, accompanied by a plate of Brazilian rice. This one was served in a German-style bar-restaurant in downtown Belo Horizonte, Brazil. It reminds me of Gulai Babek, a typical food from my home region, West Sumatra, in which the similar ‘exotic’ ingredient cooked with coconut milk and lots of spices. I guess the Brazilian version is less caloric and, of course, less spicy to its Indonesian cousin.
